PMSM Motor
Tresa's FLUX 350, Permanent Magnet Synchronous Axial Flux Motor platform is capable of delivering industry leading 350kW continuous power! Fully designed in-house, FLUX 350 is a liquid-cooled and stackable motor. Embedded inside Tresa's eAxles, these motors allow our electric trucks to carry up-to 55T!

WHAT ARE
AXIAL FLUX MOTORS
Axial flux motors, are a type of electric motor design where the magnetic flux flows parallel to the motor's axis. Unlike traditional radial flux motors where the magnetic flux travels radially, axial flux motors have their magnetic flux flowing axially, resulting in a unique motor configuration. There are only a handful of Axial Flux Motor manufacturers in the world. Axial flux motors typically consist of multiple stacked layers of stator and rotor discs. The stator contains the stationary windings, while the rotor carries the permanent magnets. This compact and flattened design allows for a high torque-to-weight ratio and efficient power delivery. Due to their construction, axial flux motors offer several advantages. They often exhibit higher power density, improved cooling capabilities, and increased efficiency compared to radial flux motors. Additionally, their compact size and flexibility in design make them suitable for various applications, including electric vehicles, robotics, and renewable energy systems.

Axial Flux
FLUX 350 is an Axial Flux Motor platform, with extreme power density, delivering up to 350kW continuous power performance.
CRGO STATOR
FLUX 350’s stator is made from CRGO steel. The CRGO steel is cold-rolled and grain-oriented to align the crystal lattice structure in the direction of the magnetic flux, reducing energy loss due to magnetic hysteresis and improving the efficiency of electricity conversion.
Liquid Cooled
FLUX 350’s stator is actively cooled via a dielectric liquid, allowing the motor to operate at higher loads for prolonged periods without risk of overheating.
EXTREME COST ADVANTAGE
With an in-house powertrain, Tresa gets an extreme cost advantage over its competitors. Similar imported motors are 6-10 times more expensive.
